How to play the Irish National Lottery
Choose 6 numbers between 1 and 49. If the numbers are drawn, you win. It’s as simple as that.
There are 7 prize divisions so you don't actually need to match all of the numbers to win.
Division 1: 6 winning numbers
Division 2: 5 winning numbers + the bonus ball
Division 3: 5 winning numbers
Division 4: 4 winning numbers + the bonus ball
Division 5: 4 winning numbers
Division 6: 3 winning numbers + the bonus ball
Division 7: 3 winning numbers

My Message on responsible gambling
Even though most of society tends to see playing Lotto as just a bit of harmless fun that isn’t in the same class as hard gambling, a position that I happen to agree with, it is none the less a form of gambling. So, to that end I am not trying to encourage you to gamble more than you can afford. What I am trying to say is that if you can afford to play, don’t let anybody nag you into feeling guilty about it. Yes, we all know the odds of winning the jackpot are tiny but you know what, it really doesn’t matter. If you’re not in it, you can’t win it! Good Luck everyone. |
